Still Someone needs the following goods:
- handmade lap blankets, afghans, and shawls
- clean, odor-free yarn -- especially soft, machine-washable, synthetic and cotton fibers
- partially completed shawls or afghans -- for example, afghan blocks that need to be assembled, individual quilt blocks or granny squares, or shawls that need borders
- homemade or store-bought greeting cards. We do not send greeting cards that are religious, but we do need both seasonal and general cards to include with the comfort garments. Please feel free to write a message in your card, for example "I was just thinking about you today," or "I hope you have a good day." Cards designed by kids are especially needed!
If you would like to make a donation in someone else's name, we will send a personalized thank you card to the honoree announcing the gift.
Monetary donations are always welcome to help pay for operational costs (marketing, website, postal, and legal fees), materials to turn into comfort items, and transportation. No one at Still Someone is paid for their involvement. All crafters, administrators, and distributors are volunteers.
